ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1989 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1493, TO TRANSFER A PORTION OF ESTIMATED ENDING
FUND BALANCE FROM THE FIRE EQUIPMENT CUMULATIVE
RESERVE FUND TO THE LAND ACQUISITION, BUILDING AND
DEVELOPMENT FUND TO REMODEL FIRE STATION NO. 54;
AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to promote efficient and effective Fire
Service, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Station No. 54 (Foster Station) requires expansion and
remodeling to accommodate the manpower and equipment assigned to that
location, and
WHEREAS, funding from the Fire Equipment Cumulative Reserve Fund is
the appropriate source of funding,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following program categories in the 1989 budget, as adopted by
Ordinance No. 1493, passed by the City Council on December 19, 1988, are hereby
amended to read as follows:
FIRE EOUIPMENT CUMULATIVE RESERVE FUND
Expenditures:
Residual Equity Transfers Out 107 00 587 190 $400,000
Estimated Ending Fund Balance 107 00 291 800 (400.000)
Total Expenditures 0
LAND ACOUISITION. BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT FUND
Revenues:
Residual Equity Transfers In 301387190 $400,00 0
Expenditures:
Foster Fire Station Remodel 30100 594 190 62 12 $400.000
Section 2. Ordinance No. 1493, passed by the City Council on December 19,
1988, is hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues
and appropriations and the aggregate total to reflect the foregoing increases in
revenues and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to
effectuate the necessary changes to the 1989 budget and to make all necessary and
appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to
revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the
official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days
after passage and publication as provided by law.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
THE 1989 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1493, TO TRANSFER

BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT FUND TO REMODEL FIRE STATION NO.54;

Tukwila, pasted Ordinance No. which provides as follows:
Amends the 1989 budget; transfers a portion of estimated ending fund
balance from the fire equipment cumulative reserve fund to the land
acquisition, building and development fund to remodel Fire Station No. 54;
and establishes an effective date.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to
anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of
Tukwila for a copy of the text.
