ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ESTABLISHING GREENS FEES CHARGED AT FOSTER GOLF
"I LINKS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 1445.
WHEREAS, greens fees are the major source of revenue to operate and
improve the golf course; and
WHEREAS, to adequately operate the course and to fund Councilmanic bond
payments and capital improvements in 1990, sufficient funding is needed; and
WHEREAS, a review of anticipated 1990 revenues at the existing level of
greens fees indicates an increase in all greens fees of $2.00, sales tax included, is
necessary to meet anticipated expenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Effective 12:01 a.m., January 1, 1990, the following greens fees are
established for play at the City's Foster Golf Links:
NON RESIDENTIAL FEES
9 holes ..........................$9.00
18 holes .........................$12.00
9 holes, weekdays for juniors
(17 or younger) and seniors (62 or older) ...................$7.00
18 holes, weekdays for juniors and seniors .................$9.00
RESIDENTIAL FEES
9 holes ..........................$7.00
18 holes .........................$10.00
9 holes, weekdays for juniors
(17 or younger) and seniors (62 or older) ...................$6.00
18 holes, weekdays for juniors and seniors .................$7.00
Section 2. In order to be eligible for Residential Fees, the individual must
present identification to prove they reside within the City limits of Tukwila.
Eligibility cards will be issued to qualifying individuals by the City Clerk's office
covering a period from January 1 to December 31 for each year. Cards may only be
used by the individual resident during the year issued.
Section 3. An "Extra Hole" fee shall be charged when a player desires to play an
additional 9 holes after the first 9 hole fee has been paid. The amount of the Extra
Hole fee shall be the difference between the 9 hole and 18 hole fee for the particular
player.
Section 4. All greens fees as established by this ordinance include State Sales
Tax within the stated amount.
Section 5. Ordinance Number 1445 is hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the
official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days
after passage and publication or as otherwise herein specified, as provided by law.

Repeals Ordinance No. /i/1.5 increases greens fees charged at Foster
Golf Links.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to
anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of
Tukwila for a copy of the text.
