ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 8.60.020 OF THE TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE
RCW 9A.76.080, "RENDERING CRIMINAL ASSISTANCE IN THE SECOND DEGREE
WHEREAS, provision should be made in the Tukwila Municipal Code for a
regulation governing the rendering of criminal assistance in the second
degree, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council desires to adopt an ordinance governing
the rendering of criminal assistance in the second degree, and
WHEREAS, an ordinance governing the above referenced subject is in the
interest of the public heath, safety and welfare,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.60.020 Revised. Section 8.60.020 of the Tukwila
Municipal Code entitled "Obstructing Justice, Criminal Assistance, Introducing
Contraband and Related Offenses" is hereby amended to add the adoption by
reference of the following state statute:
RCW 9A.76.080 Rendering criminal assistance in the second degree.
Section 2. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance
should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the
validity or constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in force and effect
five days after publication of the attached Summary which is hereby approved.

On 02/. 1989, the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed
Ordinance which provides as follows: amends section 8.60.020
of the Tukwila Municipal Code to adopt by reference RCW 9A.76.080; contains a
severability provision; and establishes an effective date.
