AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE 1989 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1493, PROVIDING BOND PROCEEDS, AND INCREASED EXPENDITURES IN THE WATER /SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR COMPLETION OF WATER RESERVOIR; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council desires to complete the 2,000,000 gallon water reservoir con- struction project, and WHEREAS, the reservoir will provide additional fire protection system flows, reduce demand charges from the City of Seattle, provide backup storage, and meet Washington Depart- ment of Social and Health Services (DSHS) recommendations, and WHEREAS, additional funding will be required to supplement bond proceeds received on December 17,1986, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following program categories in the 1989 budget, as adopted by Ordinance No. 1493, passed by the City Council on December 19,1988, are hereby amended to read as follows: Revenues: Revenue Bond Proceeds 403 382 200 $1,200,000 Expenditures: Construction Engineering 403 01 501 342 41.03 165,000 Construction 403 01 501 343 63.03 1,460,000 Estimated Ending Working Capital 403 03 293 800 (425,000) Total Expenditures $1,200,000 Section 2. Ordinance No. 1493, passed by the City Council on December 19, 1988, is hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations and the aggregate total to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in Sec- tion 1 of this ordinance. Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to effectuate the neces- sary changes to the 1989 budget and to make all necessary and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after passage and publication as provided by law. On (2 the City Council of the City of Tukwila, passed Ordinance No. /.6 which provides as follows: Amends Ordinance No. 1493 to provide bond proceeds and increased expenditures in the Water/ Sewer construction fund to complete the water reservoir. The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City Of Tukwila for a copy of the text.
