AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TIUMILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE IN O. 14051 TO REVISE THE MEMBERSHIP

ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1405 TO REVISE THE MEMBERSHIP
OF THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Library Advisory Board was created by Ordinance No.
1405, passed on November 3, 1986, and
WHEREAS, the ordinance provides that a high school student will fill
Position Number 5 as a Board Member, and
WHEREAS, filling this position has become a problem as most high
school students are involved in school activities, and
WHEREAS, it is advisable to include a balanced representation of the
population including students, the elderly, and the citizenry at large.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance #1405, Section 2.33.020, Representative Member-
ship is hereby amended as follows:
2.33.020. Representative Membership. Board Members shall be
appointed by position, as follows:
(a) Representatives of the City citizenry at- large, five mem-
bers, positions one through five.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in force and
effect five days after publication of the attached summary which is hereby
approved.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1405 TO REVISE THE MEMBERSHIP
OF THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD.
On MA '1 II ;9'7 the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, passed Ordinance No. /SAO which provides as follows: Amends
Ordinance #1405, regarding Representative Membership of the Library Advisory
Board by including a balanced representation of the citizenry at large, and
establishes an effective date.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to
anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila
for a copy of the text.
