ORDINANCE NO. S L�L
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHING-
TON, AMENDING MAP 2, BUILDING HEIGHT EXCEPTION
AREAS, TO INCLUDE CERTAIN AREAS IN THE
THORNDYKE ANNEXATION AREA, NOW A PART OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, UNDER SECTION 18.50.040 OF THE
TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that it is desirable to include the subject area
as shown on Attachment A in a height exception area, and
WHEREAS, this issue was a part of the pre annexation comprehensive land use plan-
ning and zoning process for the Thorndyke annexation which was referred to the Planning
Commission for study and public hearing, and
WHEREAS, the City's SEPA responsible official made a determination of non
significance, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held public hearings on August 30, 1988 and on
September 8, 1988, and made recommendations to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the matter was considered by the City Council on September 12, 1988 and
October 17,1988,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Map 2, Building Height Exception Area, referred to in Chapter 18.50.040 of
the Tukwila Municipal Code, is amended to include the area as shown on Attachment A.
Section 2. If any section of this ordinance, or any portion of any section of this ordin-
ance, or its application to any person or circumstances, is declared by a court of competent
jurisdiction to be invalid, the remainder of this ordinance or the application of the provi-
sion to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect five days after publication of the
attached summary which is hereby approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this '7 day of ,1989.

On April 17, 1989 the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
passed Ordinance No. 1512 which provides as follows: Amends Map 2,
Building Height Exception Area, referred to in Chapter 18.50.040 of the
Tukwila Municipal Code, to include the area as shown on Attachment A; said
area is in the newly annexed Thorndyke area; and establishes an effective
date.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to
anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila
for a copy of the text.
