ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHING-
TON, AMENDING THE 1989 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 1493, TO TRANSFER ESTIMATED ENDING FUND
BALANCE FROM THE ARTERIAL STREET FUND TO THE
LAND ACQUISITION, BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT
FUND, AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR FIRE
STATION NO. 51 RENOVATIONS; AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1989 budget, the total costs of the
Fire Station No. 51 renovations were underestimated, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make all improvements during 1989,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following program categories in the 1989 budget, as adopted by
Ordinance No. 1493, passed by the City Council on December 19, 1988, are hereby
amended to read as follows:
ARTERIAL STREET FUND
Expenditures:
Estimated Ending Fund Balance 104 291800 $(350,000)
Residual Equity Transfers Out 104 587190 350,000

LAND ACQUISITION. BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT
Revenues:
Residual Equity Transfers In 301387190 $350,000
Expenditures:
Capital Outlay Station #51 Remodel 301 594 190 60 $350,000
Section 2. Ordinance No. 1493, passed by the City Council on December 19,
1988, is hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues
and appropriations and the aggregate total to reflect the foregoing increases in
revenues and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to
effectuate the necessary changes to the 1989 budget and to make all necessary and
appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to
revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after
passage and publication as provided by law.
