Home My WebLink AboutOrd 1474 - 1988 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction (Repealed by Ord 1596) ,908 CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 1SCI 6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE 1988 EDITION OF THE STANDARD SPECIFI- CATIONS FOR ROAD, BRIDGE, AND MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION AND THE 1988 APWA AMENDMENTS TO DIVISION ONE AS THE CODE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 1332. WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila utilizes standard specifications for the construction of public improvements, and WHEREAS, the City has previously adopted standard specifications by Ordinance Number 1332, and WHEREAS, more current standard specifications are provided by the Washington State Department of Transportation and American Public Works Associ- ation, Washington Chapter, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and the 1988 APWA Amendments to Division One, prepared by the Washington State Department of Transportation and the Washington State Chapter of the American Public Works Association, published in 1988, are hereby adopted as the Code of the City of Tukwila, Washington, for regulating the construction and maintenance of public works, including streets, bridges, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water distribution, structures and other public works. Section 2. Not less than three (3) copies of said Standard Specifica- tions and Amendments to Division One have been and shall hereafter remain on file for use in examination by the public in the Public Works Department.
