AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1988 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1451 TO PROVIDE UNANTICIPATED L.I.D. BOND
PROCEEDS AND NECESSARY EXPENDITURES FROM THE
WATER /SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND (403), AND PROVIDE
INTERIM FUNDING FOR SEWER L.I.D. NO. 32; AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council provided for the construction of a sanitary
sewer main on Southcenter Parkway, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1455, approved March 14, 1988 by the Mayor and
City Council, authorizes alternative interim financing in Section 5 paragraph 1,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that interim financing be provided
from the Water /Sewer Construction Fund (403) at a rate of interest equivalent to
the prevailing CD rate,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 1988 budget, as adopted by Ordinance No. 1451 and
passed by the City Council, is hereby amended as follows:

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1451 passed by the City Council is hereby
amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropria-
tions for each separate fund and the aggregate total of all such funds combined
incorporated in said ordinance to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues
and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to
effectuate the necessary changes to the 1988 budget, and to make all necessary
and appropriate entries and adjustments in order to reflect the increases to
revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5)
days after passage and publication as provided by law.
