HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1432 - 1987 Budget Amendment CY' 1 1908 CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. /44gA AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE 1987 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1414 OF THE CITY, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 15, 1986, AND AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1420 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 6, 1987; AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1422 ON APRIL 27, 1987; AND AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1426, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON MAY 4, 1987, TO REALLOCATE EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES BETWEEN THE ARTERIAL STREET, CITY STREET, FOSTER GOLF COURSE, AND CURRENT FUNDS; AND TO PROVIDE THE CLOSE -OUT OF THE ETS SUPPORT DEPARTMENT BUDGET, REVISE THE PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERING BUDGET TO INCORPORATE THE FORMER ETS SUPPORT OPERATIONS, AND TO ADD PROJECTS TO THE ARTERIAL STREET, CITY STREET, AND FOSTER GOLF COURSES FUNDS AND TO ESTABLISH AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1987 budget, agreements with METRO on the total mitigation for the ETS project had not been reached, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desirable to appropriate revenues for the addition of arterial street, City street and golf course projects, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 1414, passed by the City Council on Decem- ber 15, 1986, is hereby amended by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations for each separate fund and the aggregate total of all such funds combined incorporated in said ordinance to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance. Section 3. The finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to effectuate the necessary changes to the 1987 budget and to make all necessary and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the in- creases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after passage and publication as provided by law. On ja,9te 1987, the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance f /t,! which provides as follows: Section 1. Amends certain line items in the 1987 budget to reallocate revenues and expenditures between Current Fund, Street Fund, Arterial Street Fund, and Foster Golf Course. Section 2. Amends Ordinance No. 1414 by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations for certain funds. Section 3. Authorizes and instructs the Finance Director to effectuate the necessary changes in the 1987 Budget. Section 4. Establishes an effective date. The full text of this Ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila.
