JEH /glg 04/30/87 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY TO ESTABLISH A ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF R -1 -12.0 FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE PARK /CROISSANT ANNEXATION AREA. WHEREAS, approximately 4.48 acres of property commonly known as the Park /Croissant Annexation Area was annexed to the City by Ordinance No. 1411, passed by the City Council on December 15, 1986, and WHEREAS, the Tukwila Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 26, 1987 to consider the establishment of a City zoning classification for the site and after the public hearing adopted findings, conclusions and a recommendation to the City Council that the site be zoned R -1 -12.0, and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on May 4, 1987 to consider the Planning Commission recommendation, at which hearing all persons who indicated a desire to speak concerning the proposed zoning classification were heard, and WHEREAS, after the completion of such hearing, the City Council adopted findings and conclusions and determined that the proposed zoning classification should be applied to the property, and WHEREAS, the City's SEPA Responsible Official issued a Determination of Nonsignificance for the proposal, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Zoning Established. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Tukwila adopted pursuant to Section 18.08.030 of the Tukwila Municipal Code, is hereby amended to establish a zoning classification of R -1 -12.0 for the property commonly known as the Park /Croissant Annexation Area, which is located at 13919 53rd -1- TUK000210 0042.010.011 JEH /glg 04/30/87 Avenue South and more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full. Section 2. Duties of Planning Director The Planning Director is hereby directed to make the necessary changes to the Official Zoning Map of the City authorized herein. Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after publication of the attached summary which is hereby approved.
