AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1987 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1414 OF THE CITY, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
ON DECEMBER 15, 1986, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1420
ON APRIL 6, 1987, AND AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1422
ON APRIL 27, 1987, TO ADD THE POSITIONS OF PERSONNEL
OFFICER AND ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY, DELETE THE
POSITION OF PERSONNEL SPECIALIST, AND TRANSFER
NECESSARY FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the personnel and other executive
functions of the City cannot be adequately administered at current staffing
levels,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following line items within the final budget for fiscal
year 1987, as adopted by Ordinance No. 1414, passed by the City Council on
December 15, 1986, amended by Ordinance No. 1420 on April 6, 1987, and amended
by Ordinance No. 1422 on April 27, 1987, are hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1414, passed by the City Council on Decem-
ber 15, 1986, amended by Ordinance No. 1420 on April 6, 1987, and amended by
Ordinance No. 1422 on April 20, 1987, is hereby amended by revising the summary
of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations for each separate fund and
the aggregate total of all such funds combined incorporated in said ordinance to
reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in
Section 1 of this ordinance.

Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed to
effectuate the necessary changes to the 1987 budget and to make all necessary
and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the in-
creases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5)
days after passage and publication as provided by law.
