ORDINANCE NO. 983 9
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF
FUNDS TO COVER THE COST OF INSTALLATION OF
BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES TO ALL CITY OWNED
BUILDINGS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. 951
AND AMENDING BUDGET ORDINANCE NO. 957.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance No. 951, dated
November 3, 1975, requiring compliance with the laws of the State of
Washington in reference to cross connection control devices, and
WHEREAS, there is an excess of funds in account 009/519.90.42
(Non Departmental Miscellaneous Services, Miscellaneous), and
WHEREAS, in compliance with Ordinance No. 951 it is necessary
to transfer funds for this unbudgeted expense;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington,
do ordain as follows:
The 1976 Annual Budget of the City of Tukwila as adopted by
Ordinance No. 957 is amended to include transfers of
appropriations between the following accounts:
TRANSFER FROM ACCOUNT:
009/519.90.42 10,000.00
(Non Departmental /Misc. Services,
Miscellaneous)
TRANSFER TO ACCOUNT:
008/519.50.38 10,000.00
(Building /General Facilities Division,
Repair and Maintenance)
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof, this 19th day of July 1976.
