A fire- retardant roof per Section 3203(e) o the U.B.C. is required. 2. The number of exits appears to be insufficient, especially if this building is eventually occupied as a multi- tenant facility. All sprinkler drawings shall be prepared by reputable companies licensed to perform this type of work. Drawings shall first be approved by the Washington. Survey & Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire Dept. No work shall commence without approved drawings. Hose stations are required per City Ordinance #730. A fire- access lane as detailed in City. Ordin- ance #757 is required on the rail -side of the building. It is the opinion of the Fire Chief and myself that a permit for this building should not be issued until past, unfinished items in the Segale Business Park are resolved: (a) A fire- access lane was agreed to be facilitated behind Pay -N -Save Distribution Center.(Bldg. #733) (b) Hose stations have not been installed in Building #731. As per our previous discussions, the extension of time as requested in your letter is acceptable to both Public Works and the Tukwila Fire Department. At such time . as the intertie is complete, I will contact you personally and notify you of same so that the necessary next step may be commenced. This agreement provided that in the event Economic Development Administration funding is not available to complete the Water District No.75 system by June 30, 1975, Segale Business Park would provide temporary water service to the city's new interceptor at South 180th Street. As you know Water District No.75 is still proceeding in its efforts to obtain assistance fran E.D.A. , and at this time the City of Tukwila has not neared completion of the intertie interceptor at South 180th Street. Segale Business Park is prepared to provide the temporary service as outlined in the September 24th agreement, how- ever, it would be a waste of resources and effort to do so if the city does not have its intertie completed. As it looks now the intertie interceptor will not be completed by June 30, and therefore will not be capable of receiving any water which temporary service from the District No.75 mains could provide. Because of this circumstance, I am requesting that the city allow the deadline in the September 24th agreement between the city and myself to be extended. I will guarantee that the temporary water service as outlined in that agreement will be provided as therein set forth no later than 60 days after the city completes its intertie at South 180th Street.
