AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE FOSTER GOLF LINKS MASTER PLAN UPDATE;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Foster Golf Links was purchased in 1978 by the City of Tukwila, and has been operated
successfully since that time; and
WHEREAS, the Foster Golf Course is an enterprise fund, which uses golf revenues to operate, maintain, and
improve all aspects of the golf course, clubhouse and maintenance facilities; and
WHEREAS, the last six -year master plan was adopted in 1993, and several issues related to the golf course
will be addressed in the coming years and will need guidance provided by a new master plan; and
WHEREAS, the 1999 Foster Golf Links Six -Year Master Plan will guide the continued improvements at the
golf course, thus ensuring its future competitiveness and enjoyment by citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Six -Year Master Plan for Foster Golf Course.
A. The Foster Golf Links Revised Six -Year Master Plan Update dated June 28, 1999 is hereby adopted.
B. The Foster Golf Links Revised Six -Year Master Plan will be a component in the Park, Golf and Public
Places Plan when that document is completed.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance
or its application to any person or situation should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional for any reason by a court
of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the
remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to any other person or situation.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official
newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force and effect six months after passage and publication
as provided by law.

On 's \34 1`11' the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed
Ordinance No. 1 8 adopting the Foster Golf Links Revised Six -Year Master Plan
Update dated June 28, 1999; providing for severability; and establishing an effective
date.
The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who
submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila for a copy of the text.
