Per. UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors in or lead -.
ing to exits shall be maintained openable from
the inside without the use of a key or any
special knowledge or effort at all times when
the building or area served thereby is occupied ".
2. Under -stair areas must be enclosed per one -hour
fire - resistive construction or provided with
sprinkler protection.
All doors, including exits shall be identified
per OSHA, Section 1910.37(q). Exit signs shall
have letters 6 inches high.
Walls to be fire stopped per UBC Sec.. 2517(f).
All sprinkler drawings shall be prepared by
reputable companies licensed to perform this type
of work. Drawings shall first be approved by the
Washington Survey & Rating Bureau, then by the
Tukwila Fire Dept. No work shall commence without
approved drawings.
. Hose stations are required per Ordinance #730.
Due to the configuration of this store lay -out, .
two hose stations will be required.
Fire extinguisher type, quantity and placement
shall be per NFPA #10.
The paved area behind this .building is a
required "Fire-Lane" and must be kept clear
at all times.
