Since this building is located in Fire Zone 2, a fire - resistive roof covering is required. 2. The mezzanine airs must be a osed on the under sid o conform to o - our fire - resistive const .ction. OPICiy %tlic.,iz. ' 3. All doors, including exits shall be identified per OSHA, Section 1910.37(q). Exit signs shall have letters 6 inches high. 4. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors leading to or in exits shall be maintained openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort at all times when the building or area served thereby is occupied ". 5. Hose stations are required per City Ordinance #730. (copy. enclosed.). Fire extinguisher type, quantity and placement shall be per NFPA #10. 7. All hollow metal columns which are capped or encased top and bottom, are to be drilled with relief holes equal to 15% of the diameter of round columns, or 15% of the width of square columns. 8. Protective guard posts or curbs are required around all gas meters, electrical vaults, sprinkler valves and hydrants. Please include these comments in your review of the above mentioned project.
