ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.34.170 OF THE TUKWILA
MUNICIPAL CODE TITLE 18, ZONING CODE, AND ORDINANCE
251 AS IT RELATES TO HEIGHT AND NUMBER OF STORIES IN
A CPR ZONE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the present requirements in the CPR district limits a
building to a maximum height of 75 feet and six stories, and;
WHEREAS, more than six stories can conceivably be placed within a
75 foot height limitation, and;
WHEREAS, the limitation on the number of stories within the 75
foot height limitation discourages the multiple use concept which is allowed
in a CPR zone district.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 18.34.170 of the Tukwila Municipal Code
and Ordinance 251 be amended to read as follows:
18.34.170 HEIGHT C -PR DISTRICT. In a C -PR district, the height
shall not exceed s4x- ste24es- and shall- aet- exesed Seventy -five feet.
Section 2. The Planning Commission report to the City Council dated
5 April 1976 is hereby adopted by reference as a part of this ordinance.
