ORDINANCE NO. 954
ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST INTER-
SECTION OF INTERURBAN AVENUE AND 52ND AVENUE SOUTH TO
THE CITY OF TUKWILA.
WHEREAS, Hazel Gjerde, sole owner of real property located on
the western side of the intersection of Interurban Avenue and 52nd Avenue
South, adjoining the City of Tukwila, has petitioned the City for annexa-
tion of her property to the City of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, In accordance with Resolution No. 499 of the City of
Tukwila, a public hearing was held on the 3rd day of November, 1975, at
7:30 P.M. in the council chambers of the Tukwila City Hall before the City
Council of the City of Tukwila, at which time the City Council considered the
petition for annexation, and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tukwila is in favor of
accepting the said annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That on the effective date of this Ordinance the
following described property shall be annexed to and become a part of the
City of Tukwila, said property being located on the West intersection of
Interurban Avenue and 52nd Avenue South and being legally described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southwesterly line
of Pacific Highway with the northwesterly line of Foster
Street; thence along said street line South 48 °04'00"
West 105 feet; thence South 29 °30'00" West 79 feet; thence
North 60 West 90 feet; thence North 35 °45'30" East
197.83 feet East to the southwesterly line of Pacific High-
way; thence southeasterly along said highway line to point
of beginning.
Section 2. The City has no comprehensive land use plan affecting
the newly annexed area.
Section 3. That in accordance with Section 7 of the petition for
annexation, the newly annexed area shall assume and bear its proportionate
share of the unpaid balance on the existing indebtedness of the City of
Tukwila.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after the
date of publication, at which time the area hereby annexed shall become a
part of the City of Tukwila.
Section 5. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of
this Ordinance with the King County Council.

ACTION DISPENSING WITH REVIEW PROCEDURE
In accordance with RCW 35.13.172, the undersigned
Mayor of the City of Tukwila, Chairman of the King County
Council and King County Superintendent of Schools, agree
that a review proceeding is not necessary with regard to the
annexation to the City of Tukwila of the area described in
Ordinance No. q-1%5L of the City of Tukwila, passed
