HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1511 - Establish 2 Petty Cash Funds and Increase Change Fund & Petty Cash Fund (Repealed by Res 1520) r� ti t G) r J i 1908 C ity T �a it O f u Washington Resolution No. /t A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING TWO NEW PETTY CASH FUNDS, INCREASING A CHANGE FUND AND A PETTY CASH FUND; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO 1420. WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council previously established Change Funds and Petty Cash Fund levels, most recently by Resolution No 1420, and WHEREAS, there is a need to increase the Change Fund to $200 00 and the Petty Cash Fund to $500 00 in Parks and Recreation for the new Tukwila City Pool operation, and WHEREAS, the City has fiduciary responsibility for the Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team (VNET) for the region, and needs to formally establish a petty cash fund of $300 00 and an additional $15.000 00 of petty cash for VNET police investigation activities, and WHEREAS, there is a need to maintain adequate petty cash funds for operational efficiency, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Change Fund levels are hereby set as follows: Finance Department -tinter Fund 000 10000 Municipal Court General Fund 000 15000 Parks and Recreation General Fund 000 20000 Golf Course Foster Golf Course Fund 411 1,200 00 (or less as needed) Section 2. The Petty Cash Fund levels are hereby set as follows. Finance Department General Fund 000 80000 Police Investigation/ Tukwila i General Fund 000 5,00000 Fire Department General Fund 000 20000 Parks and Recreation General Fund 000 50000 Public Works Div II General Fund 000 35000 Municipal Court General Fund 000 30000 Public Works Div I General Fund 000 20000 Petty Cash VNET 102 30000 Police Investigation (VNET) VNET 102 15,000 00 Section 3.
