AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL AND ADDING
A NEW SECTION TO TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE, TITLE 8.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLWS:
SECTION I. That Tukwila Municipal Code, Chapter 8.04 and Ordinance 570 are hereby
amended as follows:
NEW SECTION
Except within the Tukwila City Parks it shall be unlawful for any person
to open a package containing alcoholic beverage, or consume alcoholic beverage
in a public place. Every person who violates any provision of this Section
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be fined not
more than $10.00.
SECTION II. That Tukwila Municipal Code, Chapter 8.08 and Ordinance 413 be amended
as follows:
NEW SECTION
It shall be a misdemeanor
(a) to serve or allow to remain on the premises of any tavern any person
under the age of 21 years;
(b) for any person under the age of 21 years to enter or remain on the
premises of any tavern;
(c) for any person under the age of 21 years to represent his age as
being 21 or more years for the purpose of securing admission to or
remaining on the premises of any tavern.
NEW SECTION
Any person who transfers in any manner an identification of age to a minor
for the purpose of permitting such minor to obtain alcoholic beverages shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor: Provided, that corroborative testimony of a witness
other than the minor shall be a condition precedent to conviction.
