Application and plans must be complete in order to be accepted for plan review. VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION Valuation for new construction and additions are calculated by the Department of Community Development prior to application submittal. Contact the Permit Coordinator at 431 -3670 prior to submitting application. In all cases, a valuation amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. BUILDING OWNER / AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architecVengineer, or contractor licensed by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to submit this . permit application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations. The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). No application shall be extended more than once. Item #1. 1 inspected the expansion anchor bolts at the LTT straps. The expansion bolts had been previously installed. All of the bolts were checked for torque and found acceptable. This office finds no fault with the installation with the expansion anchors at the LTT straps. Item #2. (not addressed) Item #3. 1 have reviewed the modifications made to the Simpson LTT -20 straps by Zion. Some of the straps were altered to match other Simpson LTT-20 straps with a different nailing pattern. The modification will not decrease the ultimate capacity of the straps, and are acceptable to this office, Item #4. See the attached detail for the revision of the shearwall at the window. Item #5. (not addressed) In addition, it was noticed by this engineer that the blocking etail over the two entry shearwalls defined in C /A -1 (sim) was not Installed. This was noted to Harley, who will correct this by adding one 2x12 over each wall and nail to the mezz diaphragm, and use A35s at 16' o.c. to the top plate of the wall. The 2x12 will be offset to enable the A35s to be nailed to both the bottom of the 2x12 and the side of the top wall plate. The printing takes place in the production area. This is where we use solvent based inks and UV inks. The solvent inks have a flamability of 2 and reactivity of 2. We hold 60 gallons . The UV inks flamibilty is 1 and reactivity of 2. We hold 80 gallons. Currently we have a special permit for flamible liquids by the City of Tukwila. Permit #587 -94. They are stored in approved containment cabinets. All MSDS specifications are on file with Tukwila Fire Department. This production area is the only place flamibles are in the building. The screen room and screen storage is where we coat and expose our printing stencils. The reclaiming solutions we use are a citrus base and are biodegradable as are the emulsions. After the materials are printed they go to a different fabrication station, such as lamination, die cutting, slitting and shear cutting. Some jobs require assembly.
