ORDINANCE NO. 908 4/
ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE
CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE CURRENT FUND TO
BRING THE CONTINGENCY FUND WITHIN LAWFUL
LIMITS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, The Contingency Fund is limited by law to
37 1/2 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation, and
WHEREAS, For the year 1974 the assessed valuation of
property within the City of Tukwila was $96,582,460.00, which
figure limits the Contingency Fund to $36,218.42,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there be transferred from the
Contingency Fund,
Acct. 105/519.80.42 117,091.86
To:
Current Fund
Acct. 009/519.90.31 117,091.86
Section 2. The City Council finds that an emergency
exists with regard to the passage of this Ordinance and that it
should be passed immediately and published as required by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved at a regular meeting thereof
this 16th day of December, 1974.
