BY REPEALED B i J3 IS ORDINANCE NO. 890 S
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 778, AUTHORIZING
SANDRA STEPHENS, IN THE ABSENCE OF MABEL J. HARRIS,
TO SIGN CHECKS DRAWN ON ADVANCE TRAVEL EXPENSE ACCOUNT
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 778 be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2. The custodian of this fund shall be the City Treasurer
and the fund shall be established by a City Treasurer's check in the sum
of $1,000.00, which shall be deposited in a special checking account in
a local bank in the name of the City and entitled "Advance Travel Expense
Account Mabel J. Harris, Custodian." Advances for travel expenses
shall be made by the issuance of checks drawn on such account payable
to the applicant. A check register will be maintained in which all
transactions of the fund will be recorded. Sandra Stephens shall also
be authorized to sign checks drawn on "Advance Travel Expense Account"
but shall do so only in the absence of or in the event of the incapacity
of Mabel J. Harris. The City Council declares an emergency exists
and authorizes this ordinance to become effective immediately.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND Approved by the Mayor at a regular
meeting thereof this 7th day of October, 1974.
