Mayor Steve Mullet called the Special meeting to order at 8:38 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Bob Baker, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of Council. Present were Council President Pamela Linder;
and Councilmembers Joe Duffie, Joan Hernandez, Pam Carter, Jim Haggerton, and David Fenton.
DUFFIE MOVED; HERNANDEZ SECONDED; TO EXCUSE THE ABSENCE OF COUNCILMEMBER
DENNIS ROBERTSON. The motion carried 6 -0.
OFFICIALS:
Steve Mullet, Mayor; Rhonda Berry, City Administrator; Lucy Lauterbach, Council Analyst; Bob Baker,
Deputy City Clerk; Bruce Fletcher, Director, Parks and Recreation; and Kimberly Walden, Judge,
Municipal Court.
CONSENT AGENDA:
Approval of Vouchers #315830 316079. in the amount of $822.469.21
DUFFIE MOVED; FENTON SECONDED; TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED.
The motion carried 6 -0.

SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
a. Authorize Mayor to sign a consultant's agreement with Cascade Land Conservancy in the
amount of $60.000.00 for Phase I planning and site development of the Duwamish
Riverbend Hill site.
HERNANDEZ MOVED; DUFFIE SECONDED; TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN A
CONSULTANT'S AGREEMENT WITH CASCADE LAND CONSERVANCY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$60,000.00, FOR PHASE I PLANNING AND SITE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DUWAMISH RIVERBEND
HILL SITE. The motion carried 6 -0.
b. Authorize Mayor to sign a professional services contract with Securitas Security Services.
USA. Inc.. in an amount not to exceed $45.000.00 for the provision of security services
for Tukwila Municipal Court.
FENTON MOVED; DUFFIE SECONDED; TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH SECURITAS SECURITY SERVICES, USA, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $45,000.00, FOR THE PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES FOR TUKWILA
MUNICIPAL COURT. The motion carried 6 -0.
