ORDINANCE NO. 874
ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE
CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE CURRENT FUND TO
PROVIDE COMPENSATION IN LIEU OF VACATIONS
FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL.
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Par. C, of the Fire Fighters'
Employment Contract with the City of Tukwila authorizes Fire
Department personnel to cash in up to one year's accumulated
vacation at his or 'her regular rate of pay and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that funds be provided to
meet this expense,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
That there be a transfer of funds:
From: Contingency Fund
Acct. No. 105/519.80.41 5,000.00
To: Current Fund, Fire Dept.
Acct. No. 011/522.20.11.02 5,000.00.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting
thereof this 22nd day of July, 1974.
