ORDINANCE NO. 859
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER
TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF CITY FUNDS
AVAILABLE FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO MAKE
INVESTMENTS WITHOUT CONSENT OF THE CITY
COUNCIL AS TO EACH INVESTMENT AND REPEAL-
ING ORDINANCE NO. 725.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to RCW 35.39.032, the City
Treasurer is hereby authorized to make a determination peridic-
ally as to the amount of money available in each fund for invest-
ment purposes and to invest such funds as authorized by RCW
35.39.030 and RCW 35.39.034, without the consent of the City
Council for each investment.
Section 2. The City Treasurer shall make a written
report each month of all investment transactions which report
shall be presented to the City Council at the second meeting of
each month.
Section 3. Following receipt of the monthly report
by the Treasurer, the City Council may issue orders to the
treasurer directing investment practices.
Section 4. Ordinance No. 725 is hereby repealed.

WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting
