ORDINANCE NO. 813 U �d
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1973 BUDGET AS
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 752 BY APPROPRI-
ATING EXCESS REVENUES WITHIN THE CURRENT
FUND TO CREATE A NEW CURRENT FUND DEPARTMENT
TO PROVIDE SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR W.I.N.
EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS The City of Tukwila will receive certain reve-
nues in excess of estimated revenues for the calendar year
1973, said funds being paid by means of a grant through the
Washington State Employment Security Department on a reim-
bursement basis, and
WHEREAS, It is necessary and advisable to appropriate
such excess revenue into the below mentioned fund for the
aforesaid purpose and in connection therewith to create and
establish a new department within that fund for accounting
purposes and such appropriation being necessary and in the
public interest and for the public benefit, and
WHEREAS, The City Council met on August 6, 1973, with
four members being present, and voted upon Ordinance No. 799,
which resulted in a vote of 2 in favor of the Ordinance and
2 against the Ordinance, with the Mayor casting his tie
breaking vote in favor of passage of the Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, A question has arisen regarding the legal
sufficiency of the action of August 6, 1973, and
WHEREAS, The City Council desire to remove any ques-
tions regarding the actions of August 6, 1973,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 799 be and the same is
hereby repealed.

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to provide for the following appropriation:

Section 3. There is hereby created and established
a special department known as the "Work Incentive Program
Department" (W.I.N.) and to which shall be deposited all
funds received from the State of Washington Employment Security
Department on a reimbursement basis, in the implementation of
such Work Incentive Program.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, And approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting
thereof on akeer 1973.
