8. Identify location of sensitive area slopes 20% or greater, wetlands, watercourses and their buffers (change of
use only)
9. Identify location and size of existing trees that are located in sensitive areas and buffer (TMC 18.45.040), of
those, identify by size and species which are to be removed and saved
10. Landscape plan with irrigation and existing trees to be saved by size and species (exterior changes or change
of use only)
11. Location and gross floor area of existing structure with dimensions and setback
12. Lowest finished floor elevation (if in flood control zone)

As per our previous discussion regarding subject project, the final antenna selection and
building attachment configuration were necessary to satisfy RF and structural engineering
requirements. On our original elevation plan submittal by Teri Spencer, AWS indicated ALP
9212N cellular antennas which are approximately 48" in length. The building attachment frame
was also approximately the same length. The size of this frame was not dictated by the antenna
size or make, rather by the design of the existing structure. At the point of antenna attachment
to the building, a Mansard style roof exists. This Mansard overhang is not an integral structural
building element. In order to attach the antenna mounting frame to the building's structural
elements, the frame was required to span the top and bottom of the Mansard facade. This
requirement made the frame slightly longer than the original estimate of +/- 48 ".
Shortly prior to equipment installation, the RF engineer reassessed the site design and changed
the antennas to a CTY 9010N. This antenna is approximately 36" in length versus the 48"
length of the ALP 9212N. This change, coupled with the slightly longer antenna mounting
frame length, created the effect that the antenna is not an integrated element as we discussed.
AWS assumed that antennas smaller that those approved would be an acceptable change
without your review. In the future we are now aware that any changes effecting previously
approved project elements by the planning department must be reviewed before proceeding.
AWS appreciates your understanding on this project and anticipates that your final approval on
the CO will be forthcoming.

enclosed review comments from the Planning Division. At this time the Fire
Department, Public Works Department and the Building Division have no comments
regarding your application for permit.
The City requires that four (4) complete sets of revised plans be resubmitted with the
appropriate revision block.
In order to better expedite your resubmittal a Revision Sheet must accompany every
resubmittal. I have enclosed one for your convenience. Corrections /revisions must be
made in person and will not be accepted through the mail or by a messenger service.
