AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 634
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 738 AND TUKWILA
MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2.52.060.
The City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington, do
ordain as follows:
That Ordinance No. 738, Sec. 4, and Tukwila Municipal Code
Sec. 2.52.060, be amended by deleting therefrom Sections
A, B, C and D, and substituting therefor the following:
Section 4. Overtime pay. Beginning January 1, 1973.
Except as otherwise provided herein, the City of Tukwila
will pay overtime to its employees, which said overtime
will be computed at the rate of 1 1/2 times the original
rate of pay, provided such overtime has been approved in
advance by the head of the department and in the case of
an officer, by the Mayor. The following employees are
not entitled to overtime pay:
Police Chief Public Works Director
Fire Chief Planning Coordinator
City Clerk
City Treasurer
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
18th day of December, 1972.
