The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to
order by the Mayor, Charles U. "aker, at 8 :00 P.M. Councilmen
present were Stan Yiinkler, A. G. Radford, E. W Ives, R. K. Doyle
and J. A. Hamilton.
The following bills were presented and upon motion ordered paid.
Current Expense- M. A. Segale, purchase of dump truck 0 1250.00
Water Fund M. A. Segale, purchase of dump truck 350.00
Street Fund M. A. Segale, purchase of dump truck 900.00
Mr. Druggee, with Harstad Associates,presented exhibits of the
proposed improvements in the industrial areas in Tukwila, which the
Council studied carefully.
Mr. Hamilton moved the adoption of nestlution No. 133, which
declares the intention of the Town of Tukwila to set up a local
improvement and to set a public Hearing on same for March 6, 1961,
at 8 :00 p.m., sec onded by Mr. Doyle and carried.
A proposal for Police radar equipment was presented and discussed
Radio equipment for the Police dept. and the Fire dept. was also
discussed. Mr. Hamilton moved the town advertise for bids on Radio
equipment for the Police and Fire departments, bids to be received
until 8 :00 p.m. March 6, 1961, seconded by Mr. Doyle and carried.
Mr. Ives move meeting adjourn at 10 :00 P.M., seconded by Mr. Doyle
and carried.
