August 19, 1997 Subject: Geotechnical and Drainage Evaluation Proposed Two New Residences 4805 South 150th, Tukwila This engineering report presents the results of a geotechnical and drainage evaluation for the proposed two new single family residences at 4805 South 150th, Tukwila, Washington. Bruce, P.E., dated July 21, 1997 ASSESSMENT: Geotechnical/Civil Engineer The proposed two single family residences will be constructed on a gently sloping (less than 10 %) property off South 150th Street. The proposed lots are approximately 125' deep and approximately 75' wide (subject to lot line modification). This engineer conducted an on -site evaluation on July 21, 1997. Hand -dug soil test holes revealed dense sub -grade soils at approximately two foot (2') depths. This sub -grade soil allows for standard continuous or isolated spread reinforced concrete footings. The over -all slope of the property results in the natural drainage flow to the east by southeast (see site plan, topographic map and photographs). The over -all slope of the property allows for the installation of infiltration trenches along the eastern portion of the property to disburse and infiltrate storm water. This engineer has designed infiltration trenches to receive storm flow from roof water, as well as driveway discharge water (see attached designs).
