CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Griffin called the meeting to order at 5:06 p.m.

II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Trailer Mounted 100 K w Generator - Bid Award
Staff is seeking full Council approval to award a bid in the amount of $66,789.00 to Cummins Northwest,
LLC for a trailer mounted 100 Kilowatt (Kw) diesel portable generator.
This purchase will replace a current unit that has been in service since 1984 and has reached the end of its
useful life. This generator primarily provides power to sewer and surface water lift stations in the event of
a power failure.
Staff is recommending rejecting the apparent low bidder due to unresponsiveness in relation to contract
specifications, and awarding the bid to the second low bidder. UNANIMOUS APPROVAL.
FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER 22 COW FOR DISCUSSION.
