ORDINANCE NO. 740 7 k
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CREATION OF
A FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT FUND FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING FIRE FIGHTING
EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, The City of Tukwila, Washington, is in
need of additional fire fighting equipment,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of
Tukwila, Washington, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby established in the
City of Tukwila, Washington a fund to be used for the
acquisition of fire fighting equipment.
Section 2. Money in this fund shall be accumulated
until the City Council determines to purchase fire fighting
equipment.
Section 3. All unbudgeted surplus 1/2 sales
tax monies received in 1972 shall be deposited into this
fund.
PASSED BY The City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, and approved by the Mayor this 6th day of
November, 1972.
