The following comments should be addressed by the permit applicant: 1. It appears that page 3 of the calculations requires the columns at the southeast stair to be TS 4 x 4 x 3/4. We assume that it was intended to be a TS 4 x 4 x 3/16 columns as shown in Sections G and M/S-7. Please verify. • 2. The Partial Second Floor Framing Plan, Sheet S2, shows the W10 x 12 framing into the existing concrete panel. Pages 8 and 9 of the calculations submitted do not appear to show a point load from this beam reaction when checking the existing panels. This point load needs to be supported by the TS ledger. The drawings and calculations should be clarified. The above listed review comments should be responded in itemized letter form. We recommend that the permit applicant have the structural Engineer of Record, Engineers Northwest, respond to the above comments and resubmit two copies of revised drawings and one copy of supplemental structural calculations directly to our office, unless noted otherwise above.
