Meeting recessed at 9 :50 to meet on March 20, at 8 :00 P.M. h) Charles 0. Baker, Mayor 14715 57 ?b Avenue South Tukwila, Washinkton Tear Mr. Bakers 2940 Jerald Avenue Santa Clara, California March 23, 1961 We have learned of a proposed eight inch water an to be located along the north side of South 154th Street from the river to the Tukwila Bank location, to be paid for by frontage assessments along the right of way. We understand that there is no immediate need for this pipeline, but that it should go in before the highway does. It is our opinion that a line as large as eight inches would be;iefit the coamuniā€ ay a whole and that, therefore, the cost should be born by the community rather than by those of us unfortunate enough to be located on its proposed margin. We would like to go on record ae objecting etrenuosly to such a proposal unless the eost can be distributed in a more equitable manner. T. may not have the true facts on the proposal, and would appreciate it if you would send them to us so that we may be properly informed. It is requested that you read this letter at the next official meeting on this proposal and have it made a part of the record. 1e own the property at 6540 South 154th Street. Sincerely, e Thomas 0.
