The purpose of this Council Work Session was to review and discuss proposed changes to the
Capital Facilities, Utilities, and Transportation Elements of the Comprehensive Plan for the 2015
Growth Management Update.
Presentations on Capital Facilities, Utilities, and Transportation Elements
For each of these three elements of the Comprehensive Plan, staff detailed summaries of
requirements, key issues, and recommended changes as shown in the Council review
notebook. The Planning Commission reviewed these elements between April and June of this
year, and the material provided to Councilmembers reflects
recommendations.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions and made comments with regard to the proposed
changes. Comments and questions received at this work session were noted by staff and will
be incorporated into a cumulative document for use at a future work session where changes will
be reviewed in greater detail.
Next Steps
A public hearing will be held at the August 12, 2013 Committee of the Whole meeting.
