Marqinal Way S.: The Aviation High School project is behind on their construction and inspection schedule. Building and Fire Prevention met with representatives of the School District and the general contractor to outline the City's requirements for allowing limited occupancy of the school prior to the final inspection approval from Building Division as occupancy approval by the scheduled opening date is in jeopardy. In order to help the school meet its scheduled move -in date (first week in September), we are implementing a three phase temporary occupancy approval subject to specific life safety inspection goals for each phase. The first phase will allow furniture move in. The second phase will allow school staff (teachers) to occupy and the third phase will allow occupancy by the students . All three phases are scheduled to be completed by 8/30/13. Building and Fire Prevention have committed to providing overtime inspections to complete the City's responsibilities. Inspection approval on all life safety components takes precedence over the schedule for occupancy. • Tukwila Villaqe: The City issued a SEPA determination of non - significance this week for the above project.
