Meeting Minutes

Staff. Jim Morrow, Bob Giberson, Frank Iriarte, Gail Labanara, Jack Pace, Moira Bradshaw, Jon
Harrison and Kimberly Matej
CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Quinn called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
I. PRESENTATIONS

H. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Walk Roll and 2009 Overlav Repair Proaram Bike Lane Implementation
As information only, staff notified Committee members of three projects that will be moving forward
involving two City programs (Annual Overlay Program and the Walk Roll Plan). Three street segments
included in the 2009 Overlay and Repair Program have been identified as bicycle friendly routes in the
City's Walk Roll Plan, and will be improved as such in conjunction with the Overlay Program. The three
segments are listed below:
South 112 Street (Tukwila International Boulevard to the Duwamish River)
South 115` Street (East Marginal Way to 42 "a Avenue South)
East Marginal Way South (South 126` Street the SR 599 Bridge)
Staff will be notifying affected areas that currently have on- street parking, and will process a design
supplement with KPG (the current Overlay Program consultant) for bike lane design. Committee members
expressed their support for City departments actively working together to carry out items set forth in the
City's Walk Roll Plan. INFORMATION ONLY.
