AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND PROVIDING
FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONDEMNATION OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
TUKWILA FOR EXTENSION OF THE STRANDER
BOULEVARD RIGHT OF WAY AND TO PROVIDE
APPROACHES FOR A BRIDGE CROSSING THE
GREEN RIVER AND PROVIDING FOR THE METHOD
OF PAYMENT FOR SAID CONDEMNATION.
The City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington,
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That public he1th, safety, necessity and
convenience demand and the City Council so finds, that the City of
Tukwila acquire the fee title and interest to the parcels of real
property described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and by
this reference incorporated as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2. That such acquisition is hereby declared
to be for a public use, for the development of Strander Boulevard
and its extension across the Green River by means of a bridge and to
provide for the construction of curbs, gutters and paving of the
street and related work necessary to make a complete improvement in
accordance with applicable city and state standards. The cost of
such acquisition shall be paid from proceeds of a grant and loan
from the State of Washington Department of Commerce.
Section 3. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to prosecute the actions and proceedings necessary in
the manner provided by law, to condemn, take, damage and appropriate
the lands or other properties necessary to carry out the provisions
of this ordinance.

EXHIBIT "A"
A PORTION OF THE LANDS OF PACIFIC PROPELLER
All that certain real property situate in the City of Tukwila,
County of King, State of Washington, being a portion of Section
25, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, Willamette Meridian, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an angle point in the northeasterly line of
Christensen Road (40 feet wide) said POINT OF BEGINNING being
S88 °15'33 "E 550.29 feet and N01 °44'27 "E 27.11 feet from the
monument at the northwest corner of Government Lot 4, Section
25 -23 -5 E.W.M. as shown on the Plat of Andover Industrial Park
No. 4, filed in Volume 79 of Plats at Pages 39 40, King
County records; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along the
northeasterly line of said Christensen Road N24 58'35 "W 88.00
feet, to a point of cusp; thence leaving said northeasterly
line from a tangent that bears S24 °58'35 "E along the arc of a
curve to the left having a radius of 30.00 feet and a central
angle of 94 49'05" an arc length of 49.65 feet; thence tangent
to the preceding curve N60 °12'20 "E 90.86 feet; thence N24 °03'33 "E
to the bank of the Green River; thence southeasterly along the
bank of the Green River to a point which bears S88 01'35 "E from
the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N88 01'35 "W to the POINT OF
BEGINNING and containing 0.69 acres of land more or less.

PORTION OF PILLE PROPERTY
All that certain real property situate in the City of Tukwila,
County of icing, State of Washington, being a portion of Section
25, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, ti1lamette•Meridian, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly right -of -way line of the
West Valley Highway (S.R. 181) at a point which bears 581 31"W.
35.00 feet from the centerline thereof at Highway Engineers
Station 162 +50; thence from said Point of Beginning along said
westerly right -of -way line following courses: S08 "E
400.00 feet, N81 "E 5.00 feet and 508 "E 147.97 feet
to the southerly line of the lands described in Warranty Deed
from B. Pille and Nellie Pille, his wife, to Puget Western, Inc.
