I. /D06 CITY TUK WILA WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 712 712 7/ d✓ AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROP- ERTY FROM R -1 ZONING TO M -2 ZONING, WITHIN THE CITY OF TUKWILA. WHEREAS The owners of the following described property have petitioned the Planning Commission requesting reclassification of said property from R -1 zoning to M -2 zoning in conformity with the comprehensive plan, and WHEREAS Public hearings on said petition were held before the Planning Commission and the City Council of the City of Tukwila, and the City Council having received a favorable recommendation from the Planning Commission with respect to the aforementioned petitions; and WHEREAS The City Council finds the requested re- classification to be in furtherance of the public health, safety and general welfare, NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington, do ordain as follows: That the following described real property is hereby classified as M -2 in accordance with Ordinance No. 251 of the City of Tukwila, as amended, and the City Council hereby adopts the attached map showing said classification for the real prop- erty described as follows: That portion of Government Lot 7, Section 35, Twp. 23 N., Range 4 E.W.M., in King County, Washington, more par- ticularly described as follows: Beginning at a point from which the NW corner of said Government Lot 7 bears S. 0 °5'8'10" W. 313.17 feet and N. 89 °01'50" W. 505.54 feet, said distances being measured respectively at right angles to and along the N. boundary line of said Government Lot, said point of beginning is marked by a concrete monument which is indicated as Point "A" on -1- survey drawing by R. W. Jones and Associates, Engineers and Surveyors, dated 10 -6 -66 and entitled Boundary and Topographic Survey of a Portion of Government Lots 6 and 7, Section 35, T. 23 N., R. 4 E.W.M.; thence S. 67 °36'00" E. 248.63 feet to a concrete monument set by R. W. Jones and Associates, Engineers and Surveyors, on October 4, 1966; thence S. 23 °57'22" W. 208.79 feet to a concrete monument also set by said engineers and surveyors; thence N. 66 °02'38" W. for a distance of 250.00 feet, more or less, to the southeasterly margin of 57th Ave. S.; thence S. 23 °57'22" W. along said road margin 143.90 feet, more or less, to an inter- section with the northwesterly extension of the northeasterly side of the Alaska Seavan Building, said intersection being the True Point of Beginning of the property herein described; thence S. 66 "02'38" E. along said extension and along said northeasterly side of said building and along the southeasterly extension of said building line 280 feet, more or less, to the bank of the Green River; thence northerly along said river bank to an intersection with the N. line of said Government Lot 7; thence westerly along said Government Lot line to an intersection withthe easterly margin of said 57th Ave. S.; thence S. 23 °57'22" W. along said road margin 5.14 feet, more or less, to the True Point of Beginning. SUBJECT TO river protection easement as granted to King County by instrument recorded January 24, 1961, under Auditor's File No. 5244586. The City Clerk is directed to file a copy of this Ordinance and map with the County Auditor.
