AN ORDINANCE annexing property to the
City of Tukwila.
cr) WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received an Annexation
0 Petition for certain property (described in Exhibit A) which is
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Tukwila; and
CD
WHEREAS, said petition was in proper form and conformed
to the requirements of the State Annexation Statute; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said annexation
December 6, 1971 as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the King County Boundary Review Board has
executed a Waiver of Review pursuant to RCW 35.93.110.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Tukwila
hereby determines that said annexation petition should be granted
and that the real property described in Exhibit "A:, which is
incorporated herein by reference as through fully set forth, be
and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tukwila.
Section 2. The property annexed shall assume its pro
rata share of any existing City indebtedness.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify a copy of this
ordinance and file the same as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila, this
(AL day of March, 1972.

Legal Description of property annexed to City of Tukwila:
A portion of Government Lot 7, Section 35, Township 23 North,
Range 4 East, W.M., in King County, Washington, described as
follows:
Beginning on the easterly margin of County Road in Government
Lot 7, in said section at a point south 89°03' 20" east
1656.75 feet and north 0 40" east 1048.79 feet north of the
CO southwest corner of the southwest quarter of said section 35;
thence south 8 05" east 36.70 feet; thence south 19 59'25"
u west 520.10 feet; thence south 73 05' 40" east 233.32 feet;
thence north 16 29' 55" east 474.00 feet; thence south 64
east 232.26 feet to bank of Green River; thence northerly along
P— said bank of Green River to the north line of said Government
Lot 7 in said section 35; thence westerly along said north line
of said Government Lot 7 to the easterly margin of said County
Road; thence southerly along said easterly margin to point of
beginning; EXCEPT roads.

Freda M. Leahy, the previous City Clerk sent Tukwila Ordinance No.
696 to the Department of Records to be recorded. In corvarsation with
Mr. Glenn Shepard on date of Jan. 22, 1974. his research did not turn
up the original Ordinance nor was there any record of this ordinance
ever being recorded. He suggested that I re -draft the ordinance and
attach such certificate and have same reco ilded. If further information
is required call 242 -7150.
