The proposed single family residences on 44th Place South near the intersection of 46th Ave. South is in the 100 year flood plain. A minimum finished floor elevation of 113.08 ft. will put the structures 1 ft. above the flood plain, thereby, conforming to city criteria. The rim elevation of SSMH #1428-2 can be used as a temporary benchmark to establish the minimum floor elevation on site for the proposed structures. The city also requires compensating storage for the increased storm run-off resulting from the new construction. I have calculated that volume to be 388 cf. This can be accomplished by benching the front yards 1 ft deep, as shown on the calculation sheets.
