THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1, That the public requires and it is necessary
and proper, and the City Council so finds, that the City of Tukwila
acquire the fee, title and interest to the parcels of real estate
described as:
That portion of the Northwest quarter and the Southwest quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 23 North, Range 5
East, W. M., in King County, Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at the West Quarter corner of said Section 25; thence
South 02 °22'20" West along the West line of said Section 25, a
distance of 1319.75 feet to the centerline of P -17 Drainage
Channel, which Channel continues South 88 °12'32" East to ter-
minus at the Westerly margin of Christensen Road; thence South
88 °12'32" East along the centerline of P -17 Drainage Channel
267.55 feet to the TRUE 'POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North
01 °47'28" East 51.00 feet; thence South 88 °12'32" East 254.00
feet; thence North 01 °47'28" East 461.42 feet to the South-
westerly margin of Christensen Road; thence continuing along
Christensen Road South 44 °38'35" East 173.59 feet; thence South
66 °44'35" East 229.44 feet; thence South 01 °47'28" West 412.83
feet; thence South 88 °12'32" East 356.00 feet to the Westerly
margin of Christensen Road; thence continuing along Christensen
Road South 01 °32'25" West 155.90 feet; thence South 24 °22 °35"
West 164.42 feet; thence South 40 °34'25" West 189.39 feet;
thence South 47 °13'25" West 184.18 feet; thence North 88 °12'32"
West 286.99 feet; thence North 01 °47'28" East 667.59 feet;
thence North 88 °12'32" West 350.00 feet; thence North 01 °47'28"
East 21.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Subject to: Easements and rights -of -way of record or visible
on the property, including a permit for a way across the above
property granted or to be granted to Green River Flood Control
Zone District for purposes of a water channel; protective coven-
ants for Andover Industrial Park as appear of record; right of
public to make necessary slopes for cuts or fills upon the
property herein described in the reasonable, original grading
of streets, avenues, alleys and roads.

Section 2. That such acquisition is hereby declared
to be for a public use for the location of the City Shops and
Maintenance Yard, including related facilities such as storage
*areas, warehousing, fueling area, housing of equipment and

tr supplies for maintenance, construction and repair, and such

other related municipal purposes.
CD Section 3. The entire cost of such acquisition shall
be paid from the building, l acquisition and development fund'
of the City of Tukwila.
S ection 4, That A ttorney is hereby author-
ized and directed to prosecute the actions and proceedings
necessary in the manner provided by law, to condemn, take, damage
and appropriate or otherwise acquire the land and properties
necessary to carry out the provisions of this ordinance.
