those, identify by size and species which are to be removed and saved
10. Landscape plan with irrigation and existing trees to be saved by size and species (exterior changes or change

In reviewing our current permit files, it appears that your permit for an exterior canopy, issued on
May 20, 1998, has not received a final inspection as of the date of this letter by the City of
Tukwila Building Division.
Per the Uniform Building Code and/or Uniform Mechanical Code, every permit issued by the
building official under the provision of this code shall expire by limitation and become null and
void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from
the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or
abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days.
Based on the above, if a final inspection is not called for within ten (10) business days from the
date of this letter, the Permit Center will close your file and the work completed to date will be
considered non - complying and not in conformance with the Uniform Building Code and /or
Mechanical Code.

We have received the above - referenced application which was submitted by your office on April
29, 1998. Your application is being routed to all applicable departments for review.
The Planning Division has completed their review and has approved your application with one
condition: prior to the issuance of the building permit you must submit an approved, permanent
sign permit for the image you propose to locate on the canopy.
We have enclosed a copy of our sign code and some permanent sign applications for your use.
Please submit your sign application with all required attachments to the attention of the
undersigned. Upon receipt of these materials, it will take approximately two or three days to
review and process the sign application.
If your application is approved, we will issue you a permanent sign permit. You must then submit
a copy of the permit to the Building Department. If you should you have any questions about the

The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by
The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
1. Sprinkler protection shall be extended to all areas
where required, including all enclosed areas, below
obstructions and under overhangs greater than four feet
wide. (NFPA 13 -4- 4.1.3.2.1)
All new sprinkler systems and all modifications to
existing sprinkler systems shall have fire department
review and approval of drawings prior to installation
or modification. New sprinkler systems and all
modifications to sprinkler systems involving more than
50 heads shall have the written approval of the
W.S.R.B., Factory Mutual, Industrial Risk Insurers,
Kemper or any other representative designated and /or
recognized by The City of Tukwila, prior to submittal
to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau. No sprinkler
work shall commence without approved drawings. (City
