Alternate methods may be submitted for approval, however the following are minimum requirements based upon the plans and detail submitted with this permit application. 1. Provide (minimum) 12 "x 12 "x 6" -thick footing at each 4x4 post. Footings to be located at minimum 12- inches below finish grade. 2. Stringer to post connection shall be (minimum) (3)- 1/2" diameter through bolts with nut and washers. 3. Post to "post anchor" connection shall be made with through bolts. 4.
