This inspection should be scheduled at the Permit Center when the permit is obtained. • Construction will not proceed past required inspections. • The Building Permit and approved plans shall be picked -up by the applicant within 24 hours of notification that the permit is ready. The total number of fire extinguishers required for your establishment is calculated at one extinguisher for each 3000 sq. ft. of area. The extinguisher(s) should be of the "All Purpose" (2A, 10B:C) dry chemical type. Travel distance to any fire extinguisher must be 75' or less.
