ORDINANCE NO. 677 477
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 251, as amended
and the accompanying official zoning map of the
City of Tukwila by changing the classification
of certain property located on Interurban Avenue
South between 52nd Avenue South and U.S. Inter-
state 5, in the City of Tukwila from M -1 to C -2.
WHEREAS, the owner of the property described in the
attached Exhibit "A" has petitioned the City Planning Commission
and City Council for reclassification of said property from M -1
to C- 2;and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing
on said petition, has recommended the City Council approve the
reclassification of the said property from M -1 to C -2; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council concurs in the recommendation
of the Planning Commission and finds that the requested reclassi-
fication of the property described in Exhibit "A" from M -1 to C -2
to be within the public health, safety and general welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Tukwila
do ordain as follows:
That Ordinance No. 251, as amended, and Munici-
pal Code, the official zoning map of the City of
Tukwila, are hereby amended by changing the classi-
fication of the land described in Exhibit "A "from
M -1 to C -2.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force five (5) days after its passage, approval
and publication.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of the Stephen Foster Donation Claim in
the northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 23 North,
Range 4 E.W.M., in King County, Washington, described
as follows:
Commencing at the point of curvature monument at Station
51 +22 of Secondary State Highway 2M (Interurban Avenue);
thence North 48 °14'19" west along the center line of said
highway, 508.08 feet; thence south 32 °06'41" west, 30.43
feet to the southwesterly line of said highway and the
true point of beginning; thence continuing south 32 °06'41"
west, 131.87 feet; thence north 48 °14'19" west, 127.90 feet;
thence north 41 °45'41" east, 130 feet to said southwesterly
margin of Secondary State Highway 2M; thence south 48 °14'19"
east along said southwest margin, 105.80 feet to the true
point of beginning.
