AN ORDINANCE relating to and providing
for the acquisition and condemnation of
certain real property in the City of
Tukwila for the location of the City
Shops and Maintenance Yards and other
related facilities all for municipal
purposes and providing for the method
of payment for said Condemnation.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS
Section 1. That the public requires and it is necessary
and proper, and the City Council so finds, that the City of Tukwila
acquire the fee, title and interest to the parcels of real estate
described as Lots 19, 20, 21, Block 18, Hillman's Seattle Garden
Tracts, together with accreted lands all situated in King County,
State of Washington. Said legally described property being approx-
imately 46,000 square feet and the accreted lands being approxi-
mately 42,000 square feet for a total of approximately 88,000 square
feet.
Section 2. That such acquisition is hereby declared to be
for a public use for the location of the City Shops and Maintenance
Yard, including related facilities such as storage areas, warehousing,
fueling area, housing of equipment and supplies for maintenance, con-
struction and repair, and such other related municipal purposes.
Section 3. The entire cost of such acquisition shall be
paid from the building, land acquisition and development fund of the
City of Tukwila.
