I would like to update you on our Exodus prof t at Riverfront Technical Park. Following a 2/18/2000 inspection of a permit for Exodus mmunications, Mr. Dave Larson was able to give us some options on another permit #D99 -0119 for the same Exodus tenant. No inspections had been called on this permit #D99 -0119, however, work had been done. Specifically, we had completed the build -out of the additional upper EIFS wall at the exterior fuel tank. After consideration of our options, we have decided to cut out portions of this EIFS wall so that inspections can be made on its structural integrity. The cuts will be made at (4) locations as where detail A1.1 / 18 occurs, and at (4) locations where detail A1.1 / 29 occurs. These are locations where the C4 x 5.4 channel supports are welded to the existing wall and welded into the top 7" wide track. We will call in an inspection for this EIFS wall when we are ready for inspections on the remainder of the project. Warm Regards, SABEY CONSTRUCTION INC. As of ten -days from the date of this letter, your permit application for the work described above will be considered expired. Planning Division: I had a follow up conversation with Nora Gierloff regarding the denial of the trailer as outlined in their 5/3/99 comment letter. After discussing the only opkions available, Nora agreed, after discussion with Jack Pace, that the project as proposed was the best solution. She said to disregard the prior planning letter and the project as proposed is acceptable to their department. Public Works: We include the responses to each of Joanna Spencer's comment. 1. The trailer is portable, not a permanent structure and can be removed just like any other wheeled vehicle thatare currently located within the no -build easement. Refer to decision by Planning Division. Please see attached recorded easement document as requested. There is no covenent language associated with this recorded easement, only the attached drawing. 2. The purpose of the trailer mounted generator is to be a "backup" generator to the existing generator located within the building. It will be located onsite during the lifetime of the tenant's lease, approximately 8 years. 3. The installation will meet all current code requirements for spill containment. Specifically, all piping from the fuel tank to the trailer will be double walled pipe per my conversation with Lt. Don Tomaso on 5/19/99. A permit will be obtained by the installing contractor. We believe these responses should satisfy all concerns raised. Please notify us when the permit is available and the amount of fee remaining to be paid.
